Weather Update, 28 March, 2023: The weather in all the states across the country is about to take a U-turn once again. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and hail may start in many states of North West India from March 29. Along with this, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim may experience thundershowers on March 30 and 31.
Even in the month of March, it rained in many places. Due to which the weather remained pleasant. However, due to unseasonal rains, farmers faced heavy losses. Meanwhile, after the end of the rainy season, once again the temperature has started rising slowly in many areas.
At the same time, another Western Disturbance appears to be active in the form of a cyclonic circulation over the low level and surrounding areas of Afghanistan. It is likely to move towards North India in the next few hours. Due to this the weather pattern will change once again. Due to this, rain and hail are predicted in many states including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh.
On the other hand, cloudy weather and rain have been predicted in Delhi-NCR on March 30 and 31. Due to this, a slight drop in temperature can be recorded. During this time, the maximum temperature will be between 29 degrees and the minimum temperature will be between 17 degrees. Overall, the weather of Delhi-NCR will be pleasant.
According to Skymet Weather, a private weather forecasting agency, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and South Interior Karnataka may experience light rain. Light to moderate rain and snowfall at one or two places over Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
