He called 108 ambulance, but it was not available.

He called Mamta vehicle. Mamta vehicle operator says that she is paid only after bringing the patient. Payment is not made if the patient is not present in the vehicle. In such a situation, the relatives of the pregnant woman had to pay Rs 500 for Mamta’s vehicle. In the chaos, the patient had to be carried on a cot and brought to Mamta’s vehicle. On the way the woman gave birth to a son.

Sahiya Lakshmi Soren said that many such cases have come before this also. Pregnant women have to face problems due to non-availability of vehicles to the village. If the government builds a culvert over the drain, traffic will be easy. He said that the condition of the mother along with the child was critical. Somehow she was taken to the delivery home. There both are healthy.
