Punjab Heavy Rain Alert Update: Heavy rain alert has been issued again in Punjab. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for two days from Saturday. Heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected at most places in 17 districts of Majha, Doaba and East Malwa regions.

An increase of 0.8 degrees was recorded in the minimum temperature of Punjab. It was two degrees above normal. The lowest temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees in Hoshiarpur. The weather in Punjab remained mainly dry on Friday. Light rain was recorded at some places.
