Car Fire in Maharashtra: A terrible fire broke out in a Mercedes car at Mahalakshmi Racecourse in Mumbai. In no time, the car became a ball of fire. The vehicle burnt completely in front of the driver’s eyes. The driver of the vehicle said that smoke started coming out of the AC, after which the vehicle suddenly caught fire. The driver said that the entire vehicle was burnt to ashes in front of his eyes. Traffic police closed the entire road during the incident.

The driver saw smoke coming out of the AC

By the time fire brigade vehicles reached the spot, the car was engulfed in flames. The driver of the vehicle could see smoke coming out of the AC. All his belongings in the car got burnt. The road was reopened an hour later, by which time the vehicles stuck in the jam were diverted.

Earlier, a similar incident was reported from Thane in Maharashtra, where a car caught fire on a busy road on Tuesday i.e. July 18. A 55-year-old man was going in his car on Ghodbunder Road. Meanwhile, the car driver saw smoke coming out of his car and immediately stopped his car on the side of the road. By the time the driver got out of the car, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. Another car parked nearby was also damaged in the fire.
