Advocate Virinder Singh Sandhu, who complained in this case, has withdrawn his complaint. They accused Muktsar SP Ramandeep Singh Bhullar of 6 policemen of torture. After which Bar Association of Punjab Haryana High Court from Muktsar came in protest. For 2 days, the work was stopped in the Punjab Haryana High Court.
Meanwhile, SSP Harmanbir Singh Gill of Muktsar and DIG Ajay Maluja of Faridkot range were also removed. Advocate Sandhu has now openly praised SSP Harmanbir Singh. He even said that the government appointed him SSP of Muktsar again. As soon as this is known, the Muktsar Bar Association has expelled Advocate Virinder Singh Sandhu from the association. Apart from this, the Punjab Haryana High Court Bar Association has recommended to cancel the advocate’s license.
