The High Court reprimanded the Haryana government for repeatedly giving furlough to the Dera chief

On Wednesday, the Punjab and Haryana High Court rebuked the Haryana government on the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) petition against the parole of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, asking why it is avoiding to respond in this case.

A bench headed by Chief Justice Ritu Bahri asked the Haryana government whether the benefit of parole, which is being given to the Dera chief from time to time, is also being given to other prisoners. The government is not very kind to the Dera chief. In such a situation, it should be mentioned that the High Court has asked the Haryana government for answers to these questions from time to time about which prisoners. The next hearing of the case will be held on February 13.
