The government has increased dearness allowance and dearness relief by nine per cent at once. In the notification issued by the Finance Department, the DA/DR (DA/DR) has been increased from 212 percent to 221 percent.
Benefit of increased DA/DR from Jan
According to the information given in the notification, employees and pensioners will be given the benefit of increased DA from January. That is, along with the salary and pension of June coming in July, the employees will also be given 5 months’ arrears. Let us tell you that the Seventh Pay Commission is applicable for government employees in Haryana. Along with this, some employees of the state are still getting salary under the Sixth Pay Commission. This decision will be applicable to the employees drawing salary as per the Sixth Pay Commission.
Benefit to 2.85 lakh employees
Let us tell you that earlier in the month of May, the state government had announced a 4 percent increase in DA and DR under the Seventh Pay Commission. After this announcement, according to the Seventh Pay Commission, the DA of the wage earners had increased to 42 percent. The government had given this benefit to the employees since January. With this announcement, the salaries of 2 lakh 85 thousand employees were increased. Along with this, 2 lakh 65 thousand pensioners have also got the benefit of this.
