Amid rising pollution in the capital, the Delhi government has ordered all private and government schools to remain closed. If the concerned school wants, it can continue or stop online classes. Delhi’s air has been in the very bad category for the past few days. It seems as if the capital has been transformed into a gas chamber.

During the last two weeks, the air quality has worsened in Delhi-NCR. The air quality index in Delhi has reached the dangerous level of 410, which is a critical situation. Especially on Saturday, there was a shadow like fog in the form of pollution in Delhi throughout the day. There has been no improvement in the situation even on Sunday.

Even with anti-smog guns, the pollution did not decrease

The pollution level has been recorded at different places in Delhi from 400 to 500, due to which the entire area has become like a gas chamber. It is becoming difficult for the people of Delhi and nearby to breathe. Despite the use of anti-smog guns in many places, there has been no reduction in pollution, besides stubble burning in many fields in Punjab has worsened the air quality of the capital.

35 percent pollution in Delhi due to stubble burning

According to the latest data released on Saturday, nearly 35 percent of pollution in Delhi can be attributed to stubble burning. In response, Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Level 3 has been implemented in Delhi, with the possibility of moving to Level 4. Entry of buses from other states has been banned in Delhi. It may be mentioned that the AQI was recorded at 376 on Delhi’s Pusa Road, while the pollution level in Gurugram remained at 392.
