Actually the employees/officials of the education department were not getting the benefit of promotion at the right time. Minister Harjot Singh Bains also admitted that since he took charge of the school education department, he has received the most complaints in this regard. It is for this reason that a Promotion Wing has been constituted in the office of the Director of Secondary Education to ensure timely completion of the promotion work in various cadres of the department.
Assistant Director Ritu Bala has been appointed in-charge of the Promotion Wing by Minister Harjot Singh Bains. The Minister said that in this wing, ETT, Non-Teaching, C and B to Master Cadre, Master Cadre to Lecturer/Head Master. Promotion of Lecturer/Vocational Master/Head Master to Principal, Principal to Deputy DEO, Deputy DEO to Assistant Director/DEO. , Assistant Director/DEO, Assistant Director DEO to Deputy Director, Deputy Director to Joint Director and Joint Director to Director will be responsible for elementary education promotion as well as senior list of all cadres and follow up of court cases. .
