The education department of Punjab has taken an important decision for the promotions of teachers and other staff. Now the teachers will not have to go round the offices for promotion. Teachers used to complain to the education department that the progress files are lost by the department but now this will not happen because now its confidential report will be filled online.
Hard files sent for promotion will no longer be accepted. Because of which there will be no problem in the advancement of any teacher or other employee. A special team has been formed to run the entire circle properly. In which there will be 7 members. These members will closely monitor the entire process and report directly to the Ministry.
Earlier, education department employees used to send secret progress reports through hard copies. Due to this, neither the report was written properly nor it could be worked on properly. Due to this, it was common for the files to disappear. In view of these facts, the Punjab government has taken this decision. According to a report, more than 1.50 lakh teachers of the state will benefit from this.
