Big news related to Pakistan's former PM Imran Khan has come out. Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi have been sentenced to 10 years each in the privacy violation case on Tuesday.

Special Court Judge Abul Hasnat Zulkarnain gave this verdict during the hearing of the case in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail. Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) confirmed the incident and called it a “false case”. The media or the public was kept away from it.

His party said in a WhatsApp message that our legal team will challenge the decision in the high court. The Islamabad High Court had adjourned the hearing of the case twice and ordered media and public access. Still the legal team was not allowed to go.

He was kept apart and a hasty decision was made. It is hoped that the sentence will be suspended in view of the above facts. This case relates to the disclosure of secret diplomatic documents. Khan named the US in a public rally on 27 March 2022, claiming it was evidence of an 'international conspiracy' to topple his government.
