Freedom Fighters Gallery: “The contribution of the great freedom fighters who made sacrifices for the freedom of the country is unforgettable and the Punjab government is continuously making efforts for the welfare of all the freedom fighters and their families.” This was expressed by Minister Chetan Singh Jaudamajra.
On the occasion of inspecting the Freedom Fighters Gallery constructed at the District Administrative Complex, Patiala, Chetan Singh Jaudamajra appreciated the pictures installed in this gallery and said that they show the great freedom fighters belonging to the district as they are the pride of our district. He praised Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni for setting up this gallery and said that he himself would soon visit the homes of the freedom fighters of Patiala district.
Freedom Fighters Minister Chetan Singh Jaudamajra said that the present Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is also committed to give due respect to the families of the great freedom fighters who liberated their country. He said that he himself should fight for freedom in Faridkot district. Nihal Singh and Jagdish came to meet Chandra Sharma and now the residents of Patiala district will also meet the freedom fighters.
Chetan Singh Jordmajra said that the Punjab government has issued instructions to the officials of the concerned departments to resolve any difficulties faced by the freedom fighters immediately. He said that the Deputy Commissioner offices of the respective districts can also be contacted to solve any problem faced by the freedom fighters or their families.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni, SDM. Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh, Advocate Gulzar Singh Virak, Gurdev Tiwana, Balkar Singh Gajjumajra, Surjit Singh Ghajipur and Sonu Thind were also present.
