BSF personnel recovered arms and consignment of heroin

Smugglers and miscreants based in Pakistan have tried to send consignments of arms and heroin to the Indian border at 3 places. Border Security Force (BSF) personnel thwarted all three attempts and succeeded in downing one drone and recovering three consignments.

This success has been found at Amritsar and Abohar border. According to the information received, the sound of drone was heard in BOP Rajtal of Amritsar on Monday night. Acting immediately, the jawans succeeded in shooting down the drone. About two kilos of heroin was tied to the drone. which has been seized. The second incident is of BOP Mullakot under Attari border of Amritsar.

The soldiers of Battalion 22 were on patrol. The soldiers heard the sound of the drone. Hearing the sound, the jawans started firing. After which the drone returned. A search operation was conducted by sealing the area. During the search, the jawans have recovered three packets of heroin near BOP Mullakot. They have not been opened yet due to security reasons, but it is estimated that there may be around 3 kg of heroin in it.

The international value of which can be said to be around 21 crore rupees. Pakistani smugglers also tried to send consignments through drones at the Abohar border. The jawans opened fire and chased the drone. When the area was searched, the jawans succeeded in finding Khap. Along with about two kilos of heroin, a pistol has also been recovered from the packet.
