Chaibasa: A painful incident is coming out from Chaibasa district. Let us tell you that two people including a child had gone to fetch water in Chakradharpur block of the district, where they got injured due to electrocution. According to the information received, this case pertains to Sanaikuti village of Gopinathpur Panchayat of the block. It is also being told that both the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital, Chakradharpur Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment, where they are currently under the supervision of doctors.

According to the information received about the incident, Harish Hansda, an eight-year-old child of Sanaikuti village, was going to fetch water from a hand pump in the village on Monday. On the other hand, the electric wire had fallen near Chapakal, on which Harish could not see. Unaware of the electric wire, Harish Hansda was filling water during which he got electrocuted. On seeing the incident, a person standing there ran to save Harish Hansda. But 50-year-old Sadhu Charan Hansda also got electrocuted.
Severe injuries to various parts of the arm and head
According to the information received, both the people were seriously injured in this incident. In a hurry, the relatives informed this to Dr. Vijay Singh Gagarai, secretary of the People’s Welfare Association. After getting the information, Dr. Vijay Singh Gagarai reached the spot and both the injured were admitted to Chakradharpur subdivision hospital, where both the injured are undergoing treatment. It is being told that both the injured have suffered serious injuries in different parts of their hands and head.
