The central government has called an all-party meeting before the budget session of Parliament. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that the meeting will start from 11:30 am today in the Parliament Library Building of the Parliament Building complex. Floor leaders of all political parties of both houses of Parliament (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) have been invited in it.

In this meeting, the government will request the cooperation of all political parties for the peaceful conduct of the upcoming budget session. The budget session of Parliament will begin tomorrow (January 31) with President Draupadi Murmu's address. The next day on February 1, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget of the central government. This will be the last budget of the second term of the Modi government. This session will last till February 9.
