On the 12th day of Kisan Andolan, there is a relief news today. The barricades put up by the Delhi Police to stop the farmers on the Tikri and Singhu border are being temporarily removed to open the road for normal traffic. The police have taken this decision after postponing the farmers' exodus to Delhi till February 29. It is being told that a part of the road is being opened for traffic on both sides of the road by the police. To prevent the farmers from entering Delhi, the police had erected concrete walls and barricades on both the borders.

The statement of farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has also come out amid the action of Delhi Police to remove the barricade. He said that the movement will continue and a big announcement will be made on February 29 about the future strategy. He said that for the time being we will call all organizations and discuss the outline of the movement and then make an announcement.

At the same time, farmers lit candles today at Shambhu border in memory of Shaheed Shubkaran Singh and three other martyred farmers. Congress protested today in Sangrur regarding the case of Shubkaran Singh, a young farmer who was killed on the Khanuri border during the farmers' movement. The demonstration took place outside the Sangrur SSP office. Many senior leaders and supporters including Congress state president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring participated in it. Meanwhile, the issue of registering a case against Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij and police officials was raised.

On the other hand, Sangrur farmer Pritpal Singh, who was injured during the clash between farmers and police three days ago at Datasinghwala border of Punjab and Haryana, was referred by doctors from Rohtak PGI to Chandigarh on Saturday. The family members alleged that Pritpal Singh is not being treated properly. He is scared. The Punjab government had written a letter to Haryana about the patient admitted to the PGI. It was said that the patient should be transferred to Punjab, so that he can get proper treatment. Not only this, family members reached Rohtak PGI with farmers on Saturday afternoon.
