Thane, A fire broke out in an industrial area in Thane, Maharashtra on Saturday. An officer gave this information. There was no report of any casualty in the incident, the official said.
Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) chief Avinash Sawant said that the fire broke out at around 3 am in an industrial unit. There, material related to foundry was kept.
Sawant said that as soon as the incident was reported, the local fire brigade and RDMC team reached the spot and they brought the fire under control within an hour. He told that at present the cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
