A heart-wrenching news has come out from Jalandhar. 3 drunken robbers stabbed a grocery shopkeeper to death in Basti Gujjan of the city.
After the murder, the robbers escaped from the shop with 8 thousand rupees in cash. Due to this incident, there is an atmosphere of terror in the area. As soon as the information was received, the police officers along with the team force have reached the spot.
Relatives informed that the owner of Billa Kirna store, Paramjit Aror alias Billa used to open the shop at 6 am everyday. Even this morning, he was sitting at the counter after opening the shop, when three drunken robbers entered the shop around half past six.
They attacked Billa with sharp weapons and escaped from the spot. The police were informed about the incident. After reaching the spot, the police have started investigating the matter.
ACP West Gagandeep Singh said that around 6:30 am, 3 robbers came to the grocery store with the intention of looting. A robber stabbed Billa. Due to which the shopkeeper died. The robbers looted 8 thousand rupees in cash. Police officials say that the robbers who carried out the murder are being traced through CCTV and their network. The culprits will be arrested soon.
