Tata Motors: Domestic vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors has introduced its vehicles with upgraded engines to comply with the new emission norms coming into effect from April 1 this year. Along with this, the company said that vehicles with 20 percent ethanol blending petrol i.e. E20 fuel friendly engines have also been launched.
From April 1, 2023, the second phase with more stringent provisions of the emission standard BS-6 is to be implemented. Vehicle companies have to adapt their models accordingly. Tata Motors said in a statement that going beyond compliance, its vehicles now come with new features for better safety, handling, comfort and convenience. (with language input)
