But there is no medicine available in the country for this disease. The medicine available abroad is very expensive.

Initially the parents of the child suffering from this disease do not know about this disease, initially the child remains normal for three years, but after that the symptoms of DMD start appearing and gradually he becomes helpless in walking. . In the absence of medicine, they die between the age of 13 to 19 years. Children from Bihar and Jharkhand were also included in those who appealed to the central government.

Parents along with their children from many districts including Muzaffarpur, Patna, Saharsa of Bihar were trying to draw the attention of the government towards themselves with posters in their hands, so that they can get life. The parents’ complaint is also with the government, society and the media. Because no one is listening to them. Their children are dying prematurely, but no one is paying attention to them.
