Summer camp in government schools of Punjab from July 3 to July 15

Summer Camps in Punjab Government Schools: All the preparations for the summer camp being organized from July 3 to July 15, 2023 for the students from pre-primary to eighth standard of the government schools of the state have been completed. This information was given by Punjab School Education Minister Punjab Harjot Singh Bains through a press note.

Harjot Bains said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, summer camps are being organized in all the government schools by taking a unique initiative for the first time by the School Education Department. More than five crore rupees have been released by the government for these summer camps. With this money, the school head will take materials for activities to the students.

The Education Minister said that in the summer camps, children will be given activities related to intellectual activities, health care, sports, art craft, fundamental values, mathematics, environmental education and language skills.

For the first time ever, a special Summer Camp is being organised in govt schools of Punjab from pre-primary to class 8th, starting from today till 15 July, 8-11:30 am, with a focus on learning with fun.

Harjot Singh Bains said that he himself will be closely associated with these summer camps and will attend the summer camps and try to interact with the students. Bains said that the children from ninth to twelfth will be taught like normal days.
