The Punjab government has issued new orders for government schools in the state. According to him, now the attendance of all employees will be taken through biometric (BAS) attendance system. Even if employees attend school on Sundays or holidays, they have to mark attendance on the BAS.
If it is not possible for an employee who has gone out on official duty to return in time, the BAS in the department to which he has gone. will be able to register their attendance at But if the BAS machine is not installed at that place, then the attendance of the staff will be marked through the system already issued by the head of the department.
The Punjab government is emphasizing on making the BAS system effective. Along with this, many other changes are being made in school education. In this direction, school principals and headmasters are being sent to Singapore and IIM Ahmedabad for specialized training.
