Preparing for the funeral of Parkash Singh Badal, the dead body was taken to the fields
The last rites of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will be performed today at his native village Badal. Due to lack of space in the village crematorium, they will be cremated in their fields. The funeral will be held around 1 p.m. After the last darshan of the dead body, the last prayers are now being offered, soon the body of Parkash Singh Badal will be taken for cremation.
INILO leader of Haryana Abhay Chautala, Union Minister Somnath, former Health Minister Surjit Giani, Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Om Prakash Soni have also arrived to share their grief with the Badal family. Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa paid obeisance to the dead body of Parkash Singh Badal. Along with this, along with Sukhbir Badal, NCP chief Sharad Pawar has also expressed grief.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Union Minister Hardeep Puri will also reach the Badal family’s house to express their condolences. Strict security arrangements have been made in view of the possibility of arrival of big political leaders on the occasion of the funeral.
