Recently on a plant at the University of Cambridge Study Has been done. Here an interesting information has come to the fore about the daisy plant found in South Africa. Among daisy plants, a plant called Gorteria diffusa has been studied, which flies fake flies to attract pollinating insects. These flies are three-dimensional (3D) i.e. three-dimensional, which only have the feeling of flying. Actually these flies are not there at all.

Together with the already existing gene and this newly invented gene, it creates such conditions that male flies are attracted to the leaves of its flowers. Due to which it helps in pollination.

The reason behind this is also understandable. Study says that this plant grows in desert with difficult conditions. It rains very little here. It also has to produce flowers during its short growing season, pollinate them, and go to seed before dying. Therefore, according to the situation, such a gene has been created in it, so that it can attract more and more male flies towards itself. It has also been said in the press release of the university that it is not too long since this species of this plant came into existence. Compared to other species, it is said to be 2 million years old.
