Soon there will be new appointment of cleaning workers in government schools of Punjab

All kinds of basic infrastructure are being provided in the government schools but it has been observed that there are not sufficient number of cleaners in the schools, due to which there is lack of cleanliness in the school walls, premises and toilets, due to which there is fear of spread of diseases. remains Keeping this in mind, the department has decided to provide financial assistance through school management committees for the arrangement of cleaning workers in schools, under which cleaning workers will be arranged in schools.

This scheme will be implemented in 7440 schools in Punjab, including 680 schools in Ludhiana. With the consent of the school management committees, cleaning staff will be arranged for cleaning the school walls and toilets.

The age of the cleaners should be between 32 to 60 years. Rs.3000 per month for schools with 100 to 500 students, Rs.6000 per month for schools with 501 to 1000 students, Rs.10,000 per month for schools with 1001 to 1500 students, Rs.20,000 per month for schools with 1501 to 5000 students. And Rs 50,000 per month will be given for schools with more than 5000 students.
