The researchers said that long sleep during the day affects sleep at night. Such sleep can also increase the risk of heart attacks, heart diseases and other problems including diabetes.

Lack of sleep due to work or social lifestyle can result in increased appetite, which may increase the risk of diabetes, the researchers said.
