The Sippy Sidhu murder case will now be heard in a special CBI court. Till now this case was going on in the judicial magistrate court of CBI. The case was presented in a special court on Saturday.

The CBI had arrested Kalyani Singh in the Sippy Sidhu murder case last year. Kalyani is the daughter of Acting Chief Justice Sabina of the Himachal Pradesh High Court. He is accused of murdering Punjab-Haryana High Court lawyer Sippy Sidhu.
The hearing of this matter will now be held on February 9. Last year, the CBI had filed a charge sheet in the court of the judicial magistrate in this case. But this is a case of murder and it will be heard in a special court only, so it has been referred to a special court.
