Let us tell you that this album has been produced by Chandigarh-based music and film production company Openmic Studio, which is doing important work in the Punjabi music industry. Let us also tell that Navpreet Kaur, the finalist of Glamorous Femina Miss India 2023, is also in ‘Deewana 2’.
Navpreet recently hit the headlines when she went to ‘Mannat’ Shah Rukh Khan’s house. Navpreet said, “This is another happy moment in my career as the album has been released.”
Yuvraj Tung and Ratnamol Singh, promoters of OpenMic Studios said, “Producing ‘Deewana 2’ at OpenMic was a dream project for us as the Deewana album was loved by the audience. We have plans to record songs with leading artists in the industry. We are also coming up with some extended playlists. After releasing more than 30 songs, plans are also being made to promote successful and new artistes and give opportunities to unknown talent.”
Singer Gurshabd said, “I feel blessed to have been born with a musical gift. After the tremendous success of my previous album ‘Deewana’ I wanted to record a new album for my fans. People have given so much love to my work that I thank them very much. I hope the audience will love ‘Deewana 2’ as much.”
Yuvraj Tung, co-promoter, OpenMic Studios, said, “Along with ‘Deewana 2’ we are now planning to bring in short films for OTT. We are also focusing more on meaningful cinema than scripting a mainstream film”.
Let it be said that Gurshabd always had a deep interest in music. His love for music and singing started at the tender age of five and he started learning Sikh devotional songs. By the age of 19, she began her journey as a stage performer and began performing in international shows.
Gurshabd started his journey as a singer in Pollywood with popular singer-actress Amy Virk. He also released the song ‘Delhi De Bhulekhe’ to show his support to the farmers during the farmers’ protest against the Agrarian Laws. Let us also mention that the promoters of Openmic Studio have been a part of very successful films like ‘Bambukat’, ‘Vekh Barat Chalian’, ‘Afsar’ etc. as producers.
