Rajnath Singh Remarks On Ram Janmabhoomi Movement: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid obeisance at the Prakash Utsav of Guru Granth Sahib at Alambagh Gurdwara in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday (October 29). After this, while addressing the congregation, he said that the Sikh community has done a lot to protect Sanatan Dharma.

According to news agency PTI, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “It was the Sikhs who started the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and no Indian can ever forget their contribution.” Not only this, he also shared a fact with the people during his address.

He said, “Sri Guru Granth Sahib is such an ocean of knowledge and mercy, in which every person can find the right path by taking a dip. The knowledge imparted in it is free from the bonds of time and limitations. This is one such ocean. Giving the message of selfless service, peace and brotherhood, Sri Guru Granth Sahib is a source of inspiration not only for the Sikh community but for every Indian.

‘Sikhs started the Ram Janmabhoomi movement’
The Defense Minister said that the Ram Janmabhoomi Movement was started by the Sikhs. He further said that now everyone talks about their rights but no one talks about their duties. “If there is any community whose percentage of people who have sacrificed for their country and their percentage in the army is more than their population, it is the Sikh community,” he said.

He said in his address, “I want to share an important fact according to the official record. According to an FIR, on December 1, 1858, a group of Sikhs occupied the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, chanting slogans in the name of Guru Gobind, with ‘Ram Ram’ written all over the walls.
