Not more than 6 accused appeared in court
So far, more than 6 accused have not appeared in the court in this case. Lawrence was produced in court only once on July 27 through video conferencing. The police arrested 27 of the total 31 accused. But 2 of them, Mandeep Singh and Manmohan Singh, were killed during a fight in the Goindwal Jail of Tarn Taran. Goldie Brar, Lipin Nehra, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence’s brother and his nephew Sachin Bishnoi Thapan are sitting abroad while Jagdeep Roopa and Manpreet were killed in a police encounter in Attari. So far 25 accused are in jail.
Sidhu Moosewala was murdered on 29 May 2022
Shubdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot dead in Mansa on 29 May 2022. According to the Punjab government, 29 people have been arrested so far in this case. 2 accused were killed in the encounter 5 are outside India. For this, the state government and central agencies are being contacted. The entire planning of Sidhu Moosewala’s murder was done by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar.
Gangster Lawrence shifted to Bathinda Jail
After the input of Lawrence’s murder in Delhi jail, he has been sent to Bathinda jail. The NIA had remanded Lawrence in the extortion case. As soon as the remand was over, he was sent to Bathinda on the demand of the Delhi Jail administration, now Lawrence will be sent back only after all the cases in Punjab are over.
