The search for the accused is being conducted

The SP said that some clues have been found in the initial investigation, based on which efforts are being made to solve the case. Johal never gave any complaint of receiving any kind of threat etc.

Empty casings of bullets were recovered from the spot

The SP said that the age of both the miscreants who fired the shot seems to be around 25 years. Empty bullet casings have been recovered from the spot and sent for forensic examination. It will be known only after the investigation report which weapon was used in this incident. Do the attackers have gangster connections or not? Currently, the police are refraining from saying anything about it. However, sources say that Harjinder Singh Johal was fired with a .9mm pistol. These pistols are mostly used by professional shooters.
