Bureau report : The news of the painful death of the SHO of Bhulath constituency of Kapurthala district has come to light. SHO Surjit Singh has died in a road accident. Another policeman was also present in his car at the time of the accident. He has injuries. This has been confirmed by the DSP of Bhulath.
According to information, SHO Surjit Singh Patar posted in Bhullath police station was coming home from his car after duty late on Tuesday night along with his fellow policeman. When his car reached near Ramgarh village, suddenly the car went out of control and hit a tree. SHO Surjit Singh Patar died in this accident. While the policeman sitting in the car suffered minor injuries. DSP Bharat Bhushan Saini said that the police team that reached the spot after the accident took possession of the dead body and sent it for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, a pick-up vehicle collided with an Activa on Hajipur Road in Talwara of Hoshiarpur. The driver of the Activa died on the spot in the accident. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
Police station in-charge Har Gurdev Singh said that after Tuesday afternoon, Tarun Chowdhury, who drives Activa, was coming from village Chak Pandayan with his partner.
