Shaheed Jod Mel is going to be held on December 26, 27 and 28 at the historical land of Fatehgarh Sahib, dedicated to the martyrdom of two younger sons of Sarbansdani Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Gujri Ji. Where around 35 lakh to 40 lakh Sangat is expected to reach during this time.
Even before the start of the meeting, a large number of devotees are paying homage to the martyrs by reaching Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. Claims are also being made for the convenience of the devotees arriving at the Shahidi Sabha that proper arrangements have been made by the SGPC and the administration.
Giving information in this regard, Narrator Bhai Ajmer Singh Patiala and SGPC Ravinder Singh Khalsa said that preparations are complete for the Shahidi Sabha which is going to start on 26, 27 and 28 December. This meeting will begin on December 26 with the initiation of Akhand Path Sahib from Gurdwara Shri Jyotishrup Sahib and will conclude with the Akhand Path Sahib on December 28.
Meanwhile, a huge Nagar Kirtan will be organized from Gurdwara Shri Fatehgarh Sahib, which will be completed by reaching Gurdwara Shri Jyotishrup Sahib. There, around 400 langars have been arranged for the convenience of the congregation. Surveillance is being kept in the high-traffic area through CCTV cameras.
