The security of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur has also been increased. Before this, around 15 policemen were posted under the protection of Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. According to the new orders, now their security will be entrusted to around 40 jawans.
Police officials say that when Dr. When Gurpreet Kaur used to go to attend a program, people used to break through her security and approach her. In view of this, their security perimeter has been strengthened so that they can reach the programs safely.
ADGP AK Pandey who is in-charge of the Special Protection Unit has ordered all district police chiefs to provide extra security whenever the Chief Minister’s wife visits a district to attend an event. Their security should not be compromised.
The ADGP in his letter issued on February 6 said that when the Chief Minister’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur goes out on a visit, 2 police gypsies and 15 additional jawans will walk on the road in front of her in a Scorpio as a security cordon. This young CM Security will be provided. All of these will provide protection in the inner circle.
The letter also states that when the Chief Minister’s wife has a program at different places on the same day, 20 to 26 jawans will be boarded for her in different buses and other vehicles.
Let us tell that Gurpreet Kaur is a doctor by profession. He was born on 28 November 1990. Gurpreet Kaur as CM Maan’s mother and sister had chosen for him. Dr. Kaur’s family originally hails from Haryana. However, the family currently resides in Rajpura.
