Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also expressed his grief over the martyred soldier Raja Waring, President of Punjab Congress. Waring tweeted that he received the sad news of the martyrdom of 25-year-old jawan Parminder Singh from Chhajali village of Sangrur district in Kargil. Another brave man of Punjab has sacrificed his life for the country. May God bless his soul with the strength to take care of his family.

Social worker Inderjit Singh Bawa Dhaliwal, husband of Sarpanch Parminder Kaur of village Chhajli, said that Parminder Singh (25), son of Samrao Patti of village Chhajli, was serving the country in Kargil in Sikh Regiment 31 Punjab, where he was martyred. went Parminder Singh was giving his services to the army for 7 years.
He said that the second brother of Shaheed Parminder Singh Gurpinder Singh is also serving in the army and his father Gurjit Singh has retired from the army. Inderjit Singh Bawa said that the dead body of martyred soldier Parminder Singh is likely to reach by evening.
