Chandigarh, February 14: The Disciplinary Committee of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has expelled senior leader Karnail Singh Panjoli for six years over allegations of anti-party activities.
Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), Sikandar Singh Maluka said Karnail Singh Panjoli had been found guilty of indulging in anti-party activities. “Such instances were noticed earlier too, but the party did not take any action,” he added.

He said an emergency meeting of the party’s disciplinary committee was held Sunday evening in which it was unanimously decided that Panjoli’s anti-party activities and indiscipline could not be tolerated anymore. Therefore, he had been expelled from the primary membership of the party for six years.
