The 38-year-old Ronaldo reached 200 caps for Portugal almost 20 years after his debut. He was also felicitated for this achievement before the match against Iceland. Ronaldo’s name has been recorded in the Guinness World Records. Ronaldo gave Portugal their fourth win in Group J. The team has won four matches in four matches. Ronaldo now has 123 international goals.

After playing 200 matches, Ronaldo was quoted as saying by the UEFA website, “I am very happy. This is the moment you never expect. 200 internationals is a great achievement for me.” His team including Ronaldo missed many chances in the match but in the end the Portuguese team got success.

In terms of international goals, the name of former Iranian footballer Ali Dei comes after Ronaldo. He scored 109 goals in 148 matches.
