Repair and Maintenance of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bbuildings: The Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is constantly striving to raise the standard of living of the people of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and other poor sections.

Many schemes are being run by the Punjab government in this regard. Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that an amount of Rs. 2 crore has been released under the repair and maintenance of Dr. BR Ambedkar buildings.

Giving information in this regard, Minister of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Dr. Baljit Kaur said that under the repair and maintenance of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhavans built in the districts of the state, an amount of Rs. , Ferozepur, Faridkot, Rupnagar, Moga, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Kapurthala and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar have been issued.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that an amount of ₹2 crore has been allocated for the repair and maintenance of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhawans in Amritsar, Patiala, Sangrur, Ferozepur, Faridkot, Rupnagar, Moga, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Kapurthala, & SBS Nagar. pic.twitter.com/umCUhC5ku7

It was decided by the government to set up Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhavan in every district so that facilities could be provided under one roof to the people of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and other poor sections.

The Cabinet Minister directed the officers of the department to ensure transparency and quality in government works and to strictly follow the financial rules for the repair and maintenance work of Dr.BR Ambedkar Bhawan.
