Kapurthala Minor Rape: The father of the girl victim has filed a case against the landlord accusing him, while the landlord is said to be absconding.

A case of rape of a 9-year-old mute girl has come to light in Sultanpur Lodhi village of Kapurthala division. DSP Sultanpur Lodhi Babandeep Singh said that against the accused POCSO Act A case has been registered under (POCSO Act). Soon he will be arrested.

According to information, a migrant worker lives in a rented house in village Sultanpur Lodhi. His 9-year-old mute daughter was also sleeping with him late at night. In the middle of the night, her landlord took her sleeping girl to his room and raped her. The victim girl’s father said that when the accused came to leave her after raping her, she woke up. Upon asking accused fled the scene

Acting immediately on the complaint of the victim’s father, the Sultanpur Lodhi Police conducted a medical examination of the girl and registered a case under the POCSO Act against the person accused of rape. DSP Babandeep Singh said that a raid is being conducted to search for the accused. The accused will be arrested soon.
