Hotel operator Rahul Kumar told News18 Local, we have seen one common thing that people who stay outside definitely miss the food at home. No matter how much junk food you eat from outside, no one can replace the food made by your mother. That’s why we thought of working on this theme and today people are liking the food here.

Desi food is included in the menu

Rahul explains, here our menu includes things like desi food like Tisi Bari, Chawal Bari, Chana Dal Bari, Aloo Ka Bari, Urad Dal Bari. Often in homes, mothers make and dry it on the terrace or in the courtyard. Such a thing is not easily available even in big hotels, so we included it. Along with this, all these things are not only ready-made, but people can also buy its raw packet.

Rahul explains, apart from this things like litti chokha, handi mutton, chicken, fish, rice roti, ragi roti are included. The special thing here is that all these things are made by women. There are 10 women working in our hotel. In which 5 are cooks, the rest are helpers.

take help of women’s group

Rahul says, we get things like bari made from some women group, these women are local women here who make papad, pickle, many types of bari and chips at home. We buy all these things from them so that they got a good platform to sell and we get the taste of mother’s hand. We take orders not only for hotels but also in bulk from wedding parties or customers. Due to which the women’s group also gets a lot of profit.

Rahul says, in future, we will join some more women’s groups so that we can directly connect them with employment sitting at home and we can get pure food at home, at present we are associated with five women’s groups. A group consists of 7 females.
