After the meeting with Bill Gates, Chandrasekhar said in a tweet that apart from Indian technology solutions, issues related to artificial intelligence were also discussed. He said, Gates also gave me a copy of his book. Meanwhile, Gates, while addressing a session on ‘Aggressive and Inclusive Economy’, mentioned digital identity system Aadhaar, its payment infrastructure and efforts to include more people in the formal banking system.

Rajiv Chandrasekhar has known Bill Gates since the time when he used to work at Intel in the 1980s. Before joining politics, Chandrasekhar had a long career of three decades in the technical field. After completing his master’s program in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Chicago in 1986, Chandrasekhar got his first job offer from Microsoft. After spending a few years in America, Chandrashekhar returned to India. He founded BPL Mobile in 1994, which became India’s first mobile network operator. (with language input)
