Railway Minister's announcement for train passengers, 50 new Amrit Bharat trains will run in the country

Looking at the convenience of passengers, 2 Amrit Bharat Express trains were started by Indian Railways in the past. Among them, the first train was run from Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar terminal. The second train ran at Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru). After the successful launch of these two trains, Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav said that the Center has approved 50 Amrit Bharat Express.

Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav said that this decision has been taken after the strong process of Amrit Bharat trains conducted by Prime Minister Modi on December 30. Amrit Bharat Train has been manufactured by the government under 'Make in India'. It is a modern train of Indian Railways. These non-AC trains have second class unreserved and sleeper coaches. Both have 6000HP WAP5 locomotives and the train is capable of running at a speed of 130 km per hour. Two engines are installed in this train as it is a high speed train with Link Hoffmann Bush push-pull design. The front engine in the train pulls the train forward while the rear engine on the other hand helps the train move forward. Ashwani Vaishnav explained about the advantages of push-pull setup and said that there is convenience with two engines on the bridge and the turn.

Amrit Bharat train is based on semi-coupler technique. This technology is helpful in reducing the impact of shocks felt during the start and stop of the train. Amrit Bharat Express is equipped with all kinds of facilities for the convenience of passengers.
