Rahul Gandhi get Bail in Defamation Case: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in Surat to file an appeal in the Sessions Court against his conviction in a defamation case. The Congress leader today filed an appeal in the Surat sessions court against his two-year sentence in the 2019 defamation case.
The court has granted bail to Rahul Gandhi and the hearing will be held on April 13 on the petition to stay the sentence. Let us tell you that 11 days after the sentence was pronounced in this case, Rahul Gandhi filed a petition in the Sessions Court. BJP termed it as Congress drama.
