At some places in western Madhya Pradesh and western Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperature was more than 5 degrees above normal. Day and night temperatures are likely to be above normal in many parts of central India. On the other hand, there may be light to moderate rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
