The danger of deporting Indian students trapped in Canada due to fraud by travel agents in Punjab has not been completely averted. Because of this, Punjabi students stuck in Canada have written a letter to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and sought help. Along with this, the accused agent Brijesh Mishra has also been arrested. The students have appealed to the Punjab government to submit their case to the Canadian agency.

Punjabi students have demanded from CM Bhagwant Mann that a Special Task Force (STF) should be formed to investigate this matter, so that they can be fully helped. Along with this, PR of the students can also be done and their living arrangement can be ensured.

In the letter sent to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the students have written the names of several agents who have cheated him. These include names of 5 agents including the accused agent Brijesh Mishra. They have also appealed for financial help to their families living in Punjab.

According to information, a case has also been registered by the Canadian Border Agency in this matter. The accused Brijesh Mishra has also been arrested. Brijesh Mishra did not even have a registered license. The Canadian Investigation Agency is currently investigating all the facts of the case.

Activist Jaspreet Singh, who is leading the Punjabi students from Canada, said that before deporting the students from Canada, they were asked to check them one by one. Students have to prove themselves that they are innocent.

Jaspreet Singh said that to prove the innocence of the Punjabi students, it is necessary that the statements/confessions of the accused agents come out in which they are admitting to cheating. Only after this, according to Canadian law, the case of Punjabi students will be strengthened.
