Chandigarh: The Vigilance Bureau team arrested Naiba Tehsildar Balwinder Singh and retired Patwari Jagjit Singh Jagga of Sardulgarh. While giving the information, the spokesperson of Vigilance Bureau said that Balwinder Singh Naib Tehsildar Sardulgarh (then Kanungo) and Jagjit Singh Retired Patwari Mal Halka Seman Vallo by altering the records of the revenue department in the land of about 28 acres of land of Village Seman Tehsil Nathana District Bathinda. Private individuals were made proprietors and self-cultivators.

During the investigation conducted by the Vigilance Department, it has come to light that the private persons were converted from cultivators to owners in Jambandi 2005-06 by Patwari Jagjit Singh Jagga and later these owners obtained loans of lakhs of rupees from banks on the land of Shamalat. done

He said that the vigilance department got the news through intelligence information that Patwari has changed the revenue records and in collusion with private individuals has been made the owner of the land. Which was investigated by the Vigilance Department and during the investigation, evidence also came out against Balwinder Singh Naib Tehsildar Sardulgarh, who was posted as Kanugo at that time.

Who were named accused in the trial and arrested. The vigilance department has also named the illegal owners of this land in this case. Because of which, by acquiring the ownership of the land of Shamalat, loans of lakhs of rupees have been obtained from the banks on this land. In this regard, the Vigilance Bureau has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code at the Police Station Range, Bathinda and initiated further proceedings against the said accused.
