He said that this bus of Punjab Roadways/Punbus will depart from Patti Bus Stand at 10:20 am and reach Shimla at 10:30 pm via Amritsar, Jalandhar and Chandigarh. Similarly, the next day it will leave Shimla at 7:10 in the morning and return by the same route and reach Patti at around 7:30 in the evening. One way bus fare is fixed at Rs 585.

The Transport Minister said that Punjab Roadways/Punbus has recorded a record increase in income during the last financial year. During the financial year 2022-23, Punjab Roadways/Punbus has earned Rs 700.88 crore, which was Rs 547.08 crore during the financial year 2021-22. He said that this increase of Rs 153.80 crore is 28.11 percent. He said that Punjab Roadways/Punbus is increasing and buses will be run from other cities in the next few days.

The Transport Minister said that the authorities have already been instructed to prioritize running buses from the required places as per the demand of the people so that cheap and economical bus service can be provided to the people.
