Punjab: Rapid raids to arrest fugitive Amritpal, 353 arrested so far, 197 released on DGP’s instructions

Punjab: Rapid raids are being conducted to arrest Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh. Out of 353 people arrested by the police, 197 people have been released. 40 big criminals have been arrested while 7 have been detained under NSA.

DGP issued guidelines

In this matter, Punjab’s DGP Gaurav Yadav has issued guidelines in the campaign against Amritpal Singh. Instructing the SSPs of all the districts, he said that no one should be unnecessarily harassed by linking them to the matter. The Punjab Police is releasing those people who had the slightest indication of their connection with Amritpal Singh. On the instructions of the Punjab Government, the police have issued instructions not to implicate people unnecessarily in this matter.

Amritpal’s passport issued

Police is conducting raids at various places to nab Amritpal. Meanwhile, the number of the passport through which Amritpal Singh came to India has been issued. It is being told that this passport has a Khalistani connection. It was only by using passport number V2155280 that Amritpal Singh had reached India to hatch a Khalistani conspiracy and got busy in carrying out his plans in Punjab.
