Bureau report : The Punjab Police has sent a notice to the producer, director, actor of the Bollywood film Yaariyan-2. They have been asked to appear in Amritsar and present their case. Thai E Division Police registered a case against actor Nijan Jafri, director Sapru, producer Bhushan Kumar on the complaint of Sromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
SGPC had objected to the song and teacher of the film. SGPC says that the actor wore a kirpan in this film, while his hair was cut. The actor wore the Sikh Kakar Kirpan in a very objectionable manner which cannot be tolerated.
Asked to remove the song
SGPC has asked to remove this song from YouTube, they say that T-Series should have removed this song immediately. Despite the committee’s objection, the producer has not removed this song. The director of the film has claimed that the actor did not wear a kirpan but a khukri. Their purpose was not to hurt anyone’s religious sentiments. From this SGPC said that they are not satisfied with this absurd cleaning.
