Bathinda: Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said here that the Punjab government is committed and striving to provide uninterrupted supply of electricity to farmers and common people in every sector. Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare, District Police Chief Gulneet Singh Khurana and District Planning Committee Chairman Amrit Lal Agarwal were present with him on this occasion.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet Minister checked many offices. The minister said that no shortage of electricity will be allowed. Alternate arrangements have already been made by the department to deal with any technical issues.
Due to these arrangements, the record highest demand of 15325 MW electricity was also met this year. Meanwhile, Minister Singh visited the local district administration complex and took stock. He visited the Public Works Department office and District Planning Committee office.
On this occasion, Chief Engineer HS Bindra, SE Operation Circle Bathinda Engineer Harish Gothwal, Public Works Department Supervising Engineer Surinder Kumar, Senior Executive Engineer Sandeep Kumar Garg, Executive Engineer Ayush Goyal and other officials were present.
